Terry and Janie I'm so glad your hubbies are OK - I can't imagine how upsetting it must be to be so close to all of that horror. Even on the other side of the country its still a terrible shock how things can be altered by such a selfish act in such a short time. And so sad that it came at a time when Londoners were still celebrating the fantastic news of the Olympics.

I have nothing but praise for the emergency services and the way it was handled so well - and I must admit as a Blair-sceptic I was impressed with his speech and the genuine emotion in his face and voice. I expect he had been waiting for the day to come, but that couldn't have made it easier to cope with.

Sending my love and thoughts to anyone else affected by this crime that won't go unpunished.
